best gyro's in portland

GYRO's are my favorite food(im kind of obsessed with them), flat out! and in portland there is tons of places to get them and ive had alot of different ones. but by far the best ones ive had are at the MARATHON TAVERN in downtown on 18th and burnside. ive had cheap ones from little carts and expensive ones from nice resturants and you wouldnt think the best gyro's are from some random bar downtown but its true. they are made with beef instead of lamb, which is surprisingly good and the sauce on them is fucking perfect. another good thing is that they only cost 3 bucks during the day and they have $1 beers all day there too. so for 5 bucks you can get an amazing gyro and 2 beers. ive been going there for over a year and they are always perfect.there was a time where i was eating there everyday, and i never got sick of it. if you like gyro's you have got to go to this place, trust me its worth it.

ill try anything once...

i always say Ill try anything once, or twice, so today i did something i haven't done since i was about 7......i went to CHURCH! seriously! it might not seem crazy to some of you but if you know me then you know thats not something you would ever see me doing. it was alright but the church we went to was so big and baller that it was like being in a huge arena concert and they had more audio and video equipment than a TV station. the church seemed more like the headquarters for some huge corporation instead of a church and they were talking about sending people all over the world to start up their church in different countries, like they were diversifying. it was pretty crazy. there was a rock band and shit, church has changed since i was a kid.....ALOT
it was coo though
